Carton Sealing Tape & Board/Artist Tape

Packaging tape gets chosen by what it has to survive between the packing bench and the receiving dock. Identi-Tape carries three constructions, and they fail in different places.

Filament tape is fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene with a clear rubber-based adhesive — uni-directional strapping tape, in 1" and 2". Reach for it when the load is doing the work: bundling, reinforcing, unitizing and closing heavy cartons that would burst a plain film tape.

Crystal Clear Protection Tape is biaxially oriented polypropylene with a solvent-based acrylic adhesive — 3.6 mil (60 micron), 30 oz/in adhesion, 38 lbs/in tensile strength, in 3/4" and 1". Acrylic ages without yellowing and stays clear, which suits document and label protection as much as light sealing. Sold in 1, 10, 20 and 30-roll packs.

Board and artist tape is a premium flatback paper tape that takes flexo inks, markers, pens and pencils — for color coding and labeling, chart tape, drafting, framing, book repair and photo edging. In 1/2", 3/4" and 1", and in cartons of 72, 48 and 36.
