High-Performance Photoluminescent Safety Tape
This high-performance glow-in-the-dark safety tape provides supplemental, non-electrical visibility after loss of normal lighting. Its light-green, flexible photoluminescent polyester film absorbs and stores ambient light, then emits a glow in darkness. Use this photoluminescent tape to help identify emergency pathways, stairways, handrails, equipment controls and safety markings in commercial and industrial facilities.
This tape remains clearly visible to the night-adapted eye in a completely dark room for approximately 20–24 hours, subject to charging and exposure conditions.
Supplemental safety and egress marking: This tape supplements visual route and equipment identification; it does not replace required exit signs or emergency lighting. Afterglow duration is not an approved emergency-lighting duration or a claim of code compliance.
Glow duration and charging
This tape fully charges within 30 minutes of exposure to artificial or natural light. It glows brightest during the first 30 minutes after the light source is removed, then gradually dims.

*Glow Properties (DIN 67510 Xe Lamp; 1000 Lx/5 min): Timespan necessary for afterglow brightness to diminish to 0.3 mcd/m² - 100X human eye perception.
Duration may vary (+/-) as several factors (i.e. type/proximity/angle/wattage of light source, conditions of exposure, etc.) may impact glowing lifespan.
The 30-minute charging guidance is separate from this test exposure.

Safety and industrial applications
- Supplemental egress marking tape: Help identify high- and low-level emergency pathways, stairwells, halls and directional markings after a power outage.
- Stairways and handrails: Use as luminous stair tape for visual identification of stairways, or mark handrails, doorframes, baseboards, walls and columns.
- Equipment and safety markings: Identify critical equipment controls, light-switch covers and safety equipment in manufacturing plants and other facilities.
Applications include hotels, hospitals, schools, offices, public facilities and manufacturing plants. Other uses include labels, decals, novelties, sporting goods, trims and special effects.
Apply by positioning the tape, peeling the backing and adhering it. The system requires virtually no maintenance.
